Mingus 101: The Second Century is a brand new initiative that will work to enhance and broaden the understanding and appreciation of the life, work and expansive vision of Charles Mingus. Established and directed by his youngest son, Eric Mingus, Mingus 101: The Second Century will engage in multiple activities to achieve the initiative’s goal.

Several projects, including live music events, educational partnerships and archival developments, are currently being planned. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months.
